LONDON, UK, Oct. 22, 2021 — RMN Classical is thrilled to announce “ELECTROACOUSTIC & BEYOND 6,” the sixth volume of the successful series dedicated to sound-art explorations and electronic experimentations. Distributed by RMN Music and produced by Rick Romano for RMN Classical, the release will be available worldwide on any digital platforms and outlets on November 19, 2021.
Since its debut in 2016, this editorial line has focused its attention on the research and innovations of this artistic genre and on its voices, with the goal of supporting and showcasing those artists whose ingenious ideas and compositions take this genre a step forward. Its evolution through the past 5 years has been fascinating and the quality of works incredibly high.
Featured on the album are the winners of the Call for Electroacoustic Works, a project launched to discover new talents and to nurture the creation of new electroacoustic and acousmatic works. The composers of this release their creative processes and ideas make this album diverse, vivid, and intellectually alive.
