Press Release / For immediate release
London (UK), Friday June 21, 2019
After the successful 2018 edition, we continue our series of projects with the launch of the Call for Chamber Works, 2019.
With this new opportunity, RMN Classical hopes to discover works that would otherwise remain under the radar, aiming to promote either the up-and-coming and the more established composers and performers.
This project is addressed and open to composers and performers of any age and nationality that have recordings (live or studio) of their chamber music compositions that would like to have their works published in a music release produced to showcase and promote contemporary music.
The track(s) submitted is intended to be mainly of Contemporary music, no matter the genre or style, written for a minimum of 2 (duo) up to a maximum of 12 instruments. The work(s) can feature some jazz, pop rock, world or other influences and flavours but should mainly be instrumental contemporary for acoustic instruments (contemporary classical). The piece(s) can be with or without voice and can contain electronics. Work(s) for percussions can also be submitted. However, those, including choir, will not be accepted.
For more info about what is or is not accepted, please visit the Official Call Page
The winners will have their work(s) published in a music release that will be distributed in all the digital stores, platforms and outlets (Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Amazon Music and many more). The release and the winning works will also be added to the Sound and Music Archive of the prestigious British Library (London, UK).
Among the prize RMN Music is happy to include a high-quality design of the cover artwork, chart registration in the USA, the UK, and Canada, licensing and copyright clearance and the composers will retain copyright. Additionally, there will be synchronisation and licensing (tv and media) opportunity, and, optionally, physical distribution and manufacturing of the album will be available depending on demand.

Each applicant/composer will have the opportunity to submit more than one work via the Application Form, and the submission should include the link to the recording, the score, notes about the composition, composer’s bio and notes about the performer(s) and/or ensemble.
