Kamila Olas
Kamila Olas – polish accordionist based in Copenhagen (Denmark). Currently she’s doing postgraduated studies in Syddansk Musikkonservatorium in Odense (Denmark). Her most important achievements include among others: distinction in 8th Michal Spisak International Competition in Dabrowa Górnicza in 2014 (Poland), I place in International Competition „Art Duo Festival” in Prague (Czech Republic) in 2015, I place in International Music Competition „Giovani Musicisti” in Treviso (Italy) in 2016. She played with orchestra L’autunno leded by Adam Baszak, Chamber Orchestra Academy of Music in Danzig leded by Mikko Luoma, the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra in Gdansk leded by Maestro George Tchitchinadze. Her main focuse is on modern music, improvisation and collaboration with composers. She collaborated with many composers of young generations during 4 editions of Composers+ Summer Academy in Lithuania. She took part in project „New Music Incubator 2018” in Brussel (Belgium) which focused on collaborative musical creativity leaded by Martin Q Larsson. Her repertoire contains many transcriptions, especially baroque ones and modern original music written for accordion.
