It has been a busy month at RMN classical, with the selection of the winners of the Call for Chamber Music Recordings 2018 and the preparation of new projects that will soon be announced.
The Call for Chamber Music Recordings 2018 was launched to discover new works and composers without any limit or barriers regarding age, country of origin or style of the composition. The only requirement for the work was to be written for chamber ensemble, with
The number of applications received was very high with more than 50 works submitted from all the five continents. As already noticed for previous projects, the selection has been very challenging and more prolonged than expected and confirms the quality of the works submitted, of the performance and the recordings, was excellent. Among the submitted works there are many original ideas and innovative voices, and we are thrilled and excited to announce the Winning works for this project. (I would personally like to say to the composers that have not being featured for this project that it doesn’t mean their work was not of quality. On the contrary, we struggled when picking works and that it is always a significant challenge to compile a new album release.)
We are now very pleased and thrilled to announce the Winners of the Call for Chamber Music Recordings 2018.
The Winners and their respective works are:
(in alphabetical order)
Daniele Ciminiello with Trio
