Mikeila McQueston


Soprano and composer Mikeila McQueston enjoys performing a variety of genres including opera, concert and choral works, art songs, and new music. Some of her recent performances include the roles of Celeste #1/Waitress in Sunday in the Park with George, The Rose in The Little Prince, and Lolette in La rondine. Mikeila has also been featured as a soloist with the LSU A Cappella Choir, the LSU ACDA Lab Choir, and the St. Alban’s Chapel Choir, where she was both a soprano soloist and a composer on their 2019 album Be Still, My Soul.

Mikeila is an alumnus of Red River Lyric Opera, the Nief-Norf Summer Festival, the Varna International Music Academy (formerly the Varna International Opera Academy), and Opera in the Ozarks. She received her BM in vocal performance and composition from Louisiana State University, where she was named the 2019 Presser Scholar. Currently, Mikeila is pursuing a double MM in vocal performance and composition at the University of Tennessee.
