When he was only 17 years old he made his debut as a soloist with the Concerto by P. I. Tschaikowsky conducted by Donato Renzetti who wrote about him: “…endowed with an extraordinary musicality and a virtuoso technique, the Concerto he played was exemplary both from a technical point of view and in the temperament shown…I believe without a shadow of a doubt that Daniele Orlando is one of the most important discoveries among the new generations of soloists”.
He has performed, among others, the Concertos of L. van Beethoven, J. Sibelius, F. Mendelssohn, G. F. Ghedini (“Il Belprato”), the Sinfonia Concertante and the complete works for violin and orchestra by Mozart and Mendelssohn; the complete Brandenburg Concertos as conductor and soloist at the Ravello Festival, Bakalov’s concerto grosso and a memorable performance of Vivaldi’s Seasons at the Philharmonie in Berlin.
