Call for Piano Recordings – Announced!

Chiara C.NEWS, RMN CLASSICAL

Press Release / For immediate release

London (UK), 6 February 2018

RMN Classical is very excited to announce its new Call for Piano Recordings.

Over the past few years, RMN Classical has been able to discover more than 300 brilliant and talented composers and their eclectic and visionary works. With this new opportunity, RMN aims to discover and promote tomorrow’s composers and performers through their innovative ideas, original compositions, and outstanding productions that will be able to shape tomorrow’s music culture. RMN Classical decided to launch this new Call to discover the next wave of contemporary and current composers and performers who are going to forge and fashion tomorrow’s music world.

This Call for Piano Recordings competition is addressed to anyone regardless of age and country of residence, who has piano recordings of her/his own works (live, studio and computer-generated are acceptable) and is interested in being featured in a release specially compiled to professionally and commercially promote new music, as well as themselves as skilled composers and performers.

The track(s) submitted are intended to be of Contemporary music and for piano solo, piano duos or four hands. Their quality has to be of the highest standard possible, there are no restrictions regarding the duration – even though RMN recommend to forward/send (submit) short and medium length tracks, and computer realisation can be considered, but only if of the highest quality possible.

The best-selected works will be featured in a top quality release and added to RMN Music’s catalog. The new album will be produced by RMN Classical, released worldwide through RMN Music, and distributed on a high-quality edition on iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Amazon Music, Spotify and many other stores and digital platforms. The release and the winning works will also be added to the Sound and Music Archive of the British Library, which already hosts all RMN Music catalog.

The prize for the selected winners will also include high-quality design of the cover artwork, chart registration in the USA, the Uk, and Canada, licensing and copyright clearance and the composers will retain 100% of the copyright. Additionally, there will be the opportunity for synchronisation and licensing (tv and media) and optionally physical distribution and manufacturing of the album will be available (depending on demand).

The deadline will be March 25, 2018, and the application fee will be divided into discounted Early Bird (ending March 05, 2018) and Full Price (ending March 25, 2018).

Each applicant/composer will have the opportunity to submit more than one work via the Application Form (link), and the submission should include the link to the recording, the score, notes about the composition, about the composer, and about the performer(s).

IMPORTANT NOTE: The application fee will be the only cost for the participant and no other fees, or costs will be due if the composer is selected.
