Actress, Singer
Born in Milan, Italy, Elisabetta studied acting at both the Roy London and the Vincent Chase Acting Studios in Los Angeles. While there she also studied singing with Seth Riggs.
She brought to life countless contrasting and colorful female characters for the theatre, television, film, video and photographic art pieces.
On stage she acted in ‘The Friday Night Show’ in Los Angeles, while for Italian theatres she played a leading role in: ‘L’Uomo the non poteva morire’ (Pilgrim), directed by Dino Desiata, ‘Mirandolina canta’ (Mirandolina Sings), directed by Sauro Albisani, ‘II gesto sospeso’ (The Gesture Suspended in Air) and ‘Le sue donne, signor Pirandello…’ (Mr. Pirandello, Your Women…) both directed by Fabrizio Portalupi, ‘La strega Agnesi’ (Witch Agnesi) directed by Mauro Ginestrone.
On italian television she played in numerous tv series such as: ‘I promessi sposi’ (The Betrothed) directed by Salvatore Nocita, ‘Lezioni di Guai’ (Lessons in Trouble) directed by De Santis, ‘Squadra mobile: scomparsi’ (Missing), directed by Claudio Bonivento, ‘La dottoressa Gia’ (Dr. Gia) by De Luigi, ‘Uomo di rispetto’ (Man of Respect) directed by Damiano Damiani, ‘Una donna per amico’ (A Woman as a Friend) directed by Rossella Izzo.
For the American channel CBS Elisabetta acted in ‘The Age Of Treason’ by Kevin Connor.
Currently, she is one of the protagonists in the Italian serial ‘Centovetrine’ (Hundred Shopwindows), on national channel ‘Canale5’.
For cinema she acted in ‘Fairway’ directed by Angelo Rizzo and Nello Correale, in ‘Alibi perfetto’ (Perfect Alibi) directed by Aldo Lado and in the gothic-horror short movie set in the late 19th century ‘La freccia di carne’ (Flesh Arrow), written by Fabrizio Portalupi and Pasquale Ruju and directed by Fabrizio Portalupi.
She read the part of Manuela from the poetry collection ‘La catena d’oro’ (The Golden Chain) by Peter Russel and she played in the video-poem ‘Sradicherei l’albero Intero’ (I Would Uproot the Whole Tree) based on Serena Maffia’s verses.
In her music career she has performed live with Lino Patruno’s Jazz Band and appears on the CD album ‘Amapola’, distributed by Fonit Cetra.
With Fabrizio Portalupi and Giuseppina Amodei, Elisabetta realized ‘Femina Fera’ , a photographic-poem project, which has become a highly-prized and exclusive volume edited by the Mondadori Electa publishing house. Femina Fera has given life to a series of exhibition events in Italy and around the world and also to a poetry performance in video format.
