Daniele Ciminiello


Daniele Ciminiello (Lecce, Italy in 1991) is a composer and pianist whose works are performed in various cities around Italy and by various performers like Moto Contrario Ensemble, Novecento ensemble, the theatre Teatro Antoniano of Lecce and by the author himself on numerous occasions.

Among the venues and festival his music was played at XVIII Century Festival in Brindisi; Festival Urticanti in Bari; at Tito Schipa Conservatory; at Parco Della Musica in Rome; at Contrasti festival in Trento.

As a pianist, he has an intense activity as solo and chamber music player, especially playing repertoire for sax and piano and in 2017 he was the official pianist of Arcopu (Regional Association of Apulian Choirs).

Cinimiello began to study Piano at the age of 13 with Roberta Epifani and Vincenzo Rana, and Composition at the age of 16 y.o with Fabrizio Piccinno at first, and then with Paolo Tortiglione and Giuseppe Gigante. He achieved his Diploma in Piano in 2010 and his Diploma in Composition in 2014 at Tito Schipa Conservatory in Lecce. 

In 2011 he completed the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music in Music Performance- Piano released by The Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music and in June 2018 he achieved the High Specialization Diploma in Composition at Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome, where he studied with Ivan Fedele. Between 2018 and 2019 he attended a post-graduate Master in Film Scoring with Francesco De Donatis. He also attended masterclasses with Tiziano Manca, Federico Gardella and Stefano Gervasoni.

Some of his works have been recorded and selected for release and distribution by Naxos Group and RMN Classical.
