Carmine Marcello Rizzi
Carmine Marcello Rizzi. Born in Barletta (Italy), he graduated in 1991 in Violin with full mark at “Niccolò Piccinni” Conservatory of Bari under the guidance of M° Sante D’Orazio.
Then he studied with M° Cristiano Rossi at Accademia di Imola, Accademia di San Marino and Accademia Barense, Accademia Perosi (with M° Corrado Romano), Istituto Villa Contarini (with M° Yair Kless) and Scuola di Musica di Fiesole (with Trio di Milano).
As soloist he successfully performed with the International Chamber Orchestra of Rome in Italy and America (Merkin Concert Hall – New York), with Soundiff Orchestra and with Balcan Chamber Orchestra and he recorded contemporary music works for the cd “Miniatures” published by Soundiff. He won the audition in 1995 of Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana becoming a stable member. In 1999 he won the audition for the first parts and he continued to participate to the important lyrical concert seasons in Macerata, Jesi and Ancona and to important symphonic concert seasons with famous conductors and renowned soloists.
With the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana he performed in Italy and abroad (Europe and Asia), recording for TV, radio broadcasts and cd albums. Active in the field of chamber music he performs in various formations, especially violin and piano and string quartet. In 2002 he created with other musicians of the Orchestra Regionale delle Marche “the Archi Live Quartet”, with whom he recorded two cd’s: “Live in Radio Inblu” and “Swingin’ Christmas”.
Very active in the field of new music, he collaborates with contemporary music composers such as Nicola Monopoli and Paolo Geminiani for world premières and recordings. Since 2009 he started to collaborate with Orchestra della Fondazione del Teatro Petruzzelli of Bari and in 2012 he won the audition to be a stable member playing as Concertino of the second violins.
He received mentions and prizes in important national competitions such as A.M.A. Calabria, Taranto, Locorotondo and Sannicandro. He twice won the scholarship for “Progetto Orchestra” organised by Amici della Musica of Vicenza held by the first parts of Orchestra della Scala of Milan (Pagliani, Rossi, Dindo).
In 2007 he received a Master’s degree in Violin under the guidance of M° Walter Daga and M° Marco Rogliano at the Conservatory “Giovanni Battista Pergolesi” of Fermo. In the same year he also graduated in Viola at the Conservatory “Gioacchino Rossini” of Pesaro.
He took part int important master-classes with famous musicians such as Denes Zsigmondy, Ana Chumachenco, Natalia Bojarskj, Felix Ajo, Reiner Honek, Ilya Grubert and Giulio Franzetti.
He plays an “Eugenio Politi” violin built in 1883.
