RMN Classical is absolutely thrilled and excited to announce its new Call for Scores.
Through the past editions, RMN has been able to discover more than 200 innovative new works and their talented composers.
With this new project – launched in connection with the Composition Workshop & Networking Event (that will take place in London, next 18th and 25th November 2017) RMN Classical’s aim is to find and select 6 new pieces for piano to include in the concert programme that will take place at the end of each day of the workshop.
This is a great opportunity for composers who would like to have their work performed together with some of the masterpieces of our time*.
Here’s an outline for the submissions:
Only scores for piano solo will be accepted.
Works with electronics will be disqualified.
Submitted works must not exceed 5 minutes in duration.
Applicants may be of any nationality and age.
Applicants may submit more than one work but only one will be selected.
Deadline: 18 October 2017 (BST 11.59pm)
Fee: £9
The submitted pieces will be selected by RMN Classical Music Executive/A&R and by the Performer. Discover more info about the Composition Workshop & Networking Event.
The selected pieces will be performed during the Composition Workshop closing concert in London (UK) Saturday 18 and Saturday 25 November 2017; other pieces may be selected and considered for different occasions.
