Los Angeles Band The Falling Doves to release a new live album on August 10th, 2018 including 6 tracks recorded live in Japan.
It is with great pleasure and overwhelming enthusiasm that RMN Records announces the release of the new Falling Doves’ album titled “Live in Tokyo”.
The album, recorded during the Falling Doves’ last Tour in Japan in late 2017, is made up by 6 incredible tracks and has been mixed and mastered in the glorious EastWest Studios in Los Angeles by the Band.
Among the legendary artists to have recorded at East West, there are some of the most world-wide acclaimed artists like David Bowie, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, U2, Madonna, Guns N’ Roses, Nirvana, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Audioslave, Muse just to name a few.
Christopher Leyva, Mike Dorsey, make up the Falling Doves who share a passion for reviving classic rock with a modern twist. The music is a brilliant blast of killer riffs, Rock & Roll with bits of glam and blues.
In the past two years, the Falling Doves have taken their music on numerous trips throughout the world.
They’ve played to ever-increasing crowds, bigger and louder each time; with two world tours under their belt. The band has performed as direct support for Peter Murphy, Everclear, Eve 6, Lit, Kansas, Fastball, Gilby Clark, (Guns and Roses) Echo & The Bunnymen, Scott Russo (Unwritten Law), Sidhharta, Story of the Year and Alien Ant Farm, The La’s, Pete Best from the Beatles, Ambrosia, Looking Glass, Denny Laine and Joey Molland, and The Rembrandts.
Their last studio album Doves of War was Produced in part by Rick Parker of (BRMC, Scott Weiland, Lord Huron, and the Dandy Warhol’s), and Skyler Lutes in San Diego with additional production by Jason Hill from (Louis XIV, Jett, The Killers, Muse, and Bowie).
The Falling Doves hold an official residency at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, England, home of the Beatles, where they return each year.
