John Wiggins


John Wiggins is a four time Emmy winning TV and film sound designer/mixer living in New York. John was supervising sound editor at HBO for 22 years where he worked on many award winning shows including Academy Award winning documentary “KING GIMP” and the theme music for the Howard Stern Show on E!. In 2001 Wiggins started his own production company Wonderland Sound where he still works creating sound for NBC, Showtime, HBO and many others.
In 1984 his “particle music” premiered at The International Computer Music Festival, created with sampling software written by the composer. His electro acoustic music has always played an important role in his understanding sound and all it’s implications. Wiggins’ goal is to innovate and find the listened to sound.
