Anna Vassiliadis


Anna Vassiliadis is a Canadian composer that grew up in Greece. She studied Music Technology and Acoustics and got her BSc from the Mediterranean University at Rethymnon, Crete. Later on she completed her MSc on Sound Arts and Technologies at the Department of Music Studies at Ionian University in Corfu in the field of Electroacoustic composition. Continuing her studies in the same University, she is currently a PhD candidate on Electroacoustic Synthesis, which is mainly based on the art of sonification. She is annually participating in concerts of Electroacoustic music (diffusion) mostly at Corfu and Rethimnon, which are the main poles of this type of music in Greece. The “Call for Electroacoustic Works 2020” by RMN Music Ltd was her very first participation in an Electroacoustic music competition.
