Call for Piano Recording – The Results Are In

Chiara C.NEWS, RMN CLASSICAL

RMN Classical is proud and excited to announce the Winners and Selected Composers of the Call for Piano Recordings Competition, a project launched to discover the next wave of contemporary and current composers and performers who are going to forge and fashion tomorrow’s music world through their innovative ideas, original compositions, and outstanding productions.

The number and quality of the compositions received for this Competition have been incredibly high with 46 works submitted from all over the world, many of which loaded with interesting, ingenious and original ideas.

After a very long and difficult selection process – due to the excellent level of the works submitted – the following works have been chosen to be included in a new album release that will be produced and released later on next months by RMN Classical.

  • Feliksas Bajoras
  • Gianluca Barragato
  • Roger Briggs
  • Rei Hamakawa
  • NgaNaatAnnaVienna Ho
  • Philippe Mathis
  • Marco Molteni
  • Kotaro Morikawa
  • Grainne Mulvey

RMN Classical would also like to give a special mention to three Composers that distinguished themselves for the works submitted. Their works won’t be included in this release but could be considered for future publications:

  • Alejandro Basulto
  • Lorenzo Fronti
  • Paolo Geminiani

RMN Music hopes that this project will be an invaluable and significant showcase for the selected composers, and wishes, once again, its congratulation to all the Winners for their success.
