WINNERS ANNOUNCED: Call for Scores Music for Duo and Trio

Once more, RMN Classical is thrilled and excited to announce the Winners and Selected Composers of the Call for Scores – Music for Duo and Trio! An outstanding success!

The number of composers who have submitted their works for this Call for Scores has been incredibly high, we have received applications from all over the world, and we want to deeply thank all the talented and brilliant composers who took part in this project.
The selection process has been even tougher and challenging than expected because of the excellent level of the pieces submitted. Only after a long and exhausting debate, the Jury Committee has been able to select and announce the following winners:

(by title, in alphabetical order)

Aquarelle for flute and violin by John Gourlay
Color Shift 1 for viola and cello by Matt Magerkurth
Duet for viola and cello by Timothy Tate
Miniature N. 5 for violin and cello by Kieran Reed
Music for Toys & Dreams for flute, viola & cello by Greg Bartholomew
Trio I for flute, violin & cello by Paolo Geminiani
Yearning for violin and cello by Petar Jovanov

The Jury Committee Members:
Carmine Marcello Rizzi: Violin
Pietro Doronzo: Flute
Dive Wang: Cello
Nicola Monopoli: Composer, Sound Engineer
Riccardo Romano: Composer, Music Executive, Label Director

Be ready this Spring/Summer to greet this exceptional upcoming release: we are absolutely sure that you will enjoy it! We strongly believe that this project will be a great showcase for the Selected Composers as well
as for the Performers who will take part in it, and, once more, we would like to thank the Jury Committee for its wonderful job – you guys gave them a hard time! – and to congratulate with the Winners for their success.

Our biggest Congratulation!

Dr Riccardo Romano
