Alex Bonacci began playing drums at the age of seven.
He attended a Berklee College course where he had the pleasure to study with Ron Savage, Ken Cervenka and Matthew Nicholl and meet many great artists of all over the world.He attended several master-classes and studied with different great musicians, such as: Jeff Berlin, Omar Hakim, Peter Erskine, Dave Weckl, JoJo Mayer, Pat Martino, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti, Steve Smith, Dennis Chambers, Furio Chirico, Miroslav Vitous, Kiko Loureiro, Daryl Lowery, Larry Monroe, etc.

In 2005 he became the official drummer of the band called ‘Vincent’ and won the Sanremo Rock Festival with them during the same year. Attending this event he had the chance to play on the same stage on which many famous musicians were playing (i.e.Ian Paice- Deep Purple’s drummer).

He took part in many radio and television programs (Rock TV, RaiDue, RadioDue, Sky, etc.) and in many important music contests with different artists (Heineken Jammin Festival, International Pop Overthrow, Sanremo Rock, Premio Musicultura, Rock Targato Italia, Coca Cola contest, etc.).

All the Mornings of the World (Heineken Jammin Festival finalist 2012), Roberto Diana (Steve Lukather, Simon Phillips, Frank Gambale, ecc.), Alessia D’Andrea (Ian Anderson, David Arch,Jethro Tull, Steafan Hannigan, ecc.), Tony Levin, JP Cervoni, Stefano Olla, Stephan Zeh, Lowlands (“Gypsy child european tour 2011”), Brian Ray, Vince Tempera, James Raymond, Florian Opahle, Ive, Ivan Battistella, “Rigo” Righetti, Dj Molella, Emanuele Frusi, Luca Milieri, Mario Rossman, Timerec, Simone Borghi and many more.. Those are some of the great musicians, sound engineers and producers whom Alex Bonacci has worked with.

He is the business owner of the school “X4M – Perform School of musicians”.
He is a drum teacher too for national school “La casa del batterista” and director of the official
branch in Turin of this trade mark. Bioritmo Studio in Turin is the branch where he teaches.
